ELECTRICAL TRACE HEATING
Electrical Trace Heating can be applied in any environment; from residential and commercial, to heavy industrial properties and installations.
THE TECHNOLOGY
- Trace Heating Tape is self-regulating; it automatically adjusts power output to compensate for temperature changes.
- Heat is generated as electric current passes through the conductive polymer core between the conductors.
- As the ambient temperature drops, the number of electrical paths through the core increases and more heat is produced.
- Conversely, as the temperature rises, the core has fewer electrical paths and less heat is produced.

APPLICATIONS
- Freeze protection - Prevents fluids in plastic and metal pipes from freezing, and maintains correct flow temperatures for oil. Ideal for plumbing lines, sprinkler piping, grease disposal lines, tanks, cold water mains etc.
- De-icing - Melts snow and ice in gutters before they build up. Provides cost and energy savings by supplying heat only when and where needed.
- Snow melting - Detects and melts ice and snow on concrete surfaces, stairways, car ramps and pavements.
- Floor warming - Makes concrete floors warm. Ideal for Hotels, office and residential buildings. Offers clean, dependable, maintenance-free heating.
- Refrigeration - Frost protection of equipment drainpipes, doors, and cold rooms. Prevents condensation buildup on refrigerated display windows. Low maintenance and operating costs.
- Hot Water Temperature Maintenance - The HWAT system keeps hot water at a consistent temperature - no matter how complex the building. Provides instant hot water from every tap in hotels, hospitals, apartments, offices, schools, nursing homes, etc.
- Easy installation and low installation costs - Reduced energy and maintenance costs - Eliminates waste of water
